My name is D.C and in 2020 I put in an interest to sponsor form.
In October 2023 I received an invitation to start the process for permanent residency. I submitted an application for mother in November 2023 however, her application was returned and the file was close which was heartbreaking because I was looking forward for my mother to relocated with me permanently.
From reading the invitation, I realized I had made a huge mistake on the interest to sponsor form. I misinterpreted the word sponsor and applicant. For sponsor I accidentally wrote my mother's name instead of my name and for applicant I put my name instead of my mother's name. So, it is showing I was not given an invitation to start the sponsorship. Rather, my mother is given the invitation to sponsor. It was an honest mistake. What can I do in this situation
