My wife lives in Asia. Standard paper size is a4. However, I filled out most of her forms for her with the info she provided and printed her extra pages, forms and her essay statement here in Canada on Letter size paper. I then Fedex'd the pages she needed to sign along with the undertaking page for her to sign and she signed them all and sent them back. I didn't realize the size of the paper is different until afterwards when I got her photocopies of the marriage certificate, passport etc she prepared in her country which are different size than all her forms etc. Do you think she has to reprint them on her standard paper size and send the forms to me? Will it be a problem that it is obvious her forms and extra pages were printed in Canada? I'm confused if this will present an issue with CIC or not.. Note, the use of representative was not fillled
I had the same issue! My husband sent me the forms in A4, I was confused as to why they did not match up with our letter size. The marriage certificate, birth certificate were left at A4, but the whole application for Family Sponsorship was done in letter size. Hope that helps, we did not have an issue with CIC returning it.
my husband is from the UK, where they use A4 as well, so we had the exact same issue - half the forms were done in A4 and half in letter size. our application was processed with no problem at all, and we have COPR in hand. you'll be fine
I'm not worried so much with the difference in size of the paper, my concern was with CIC's perception of the forms all being printed here, opposed to the applicants forms being printed by the applicant in her home country.

i misunderstood your concern, too. still, the answer is no. CIC will not make any inferences based on the size of paper. if you're overly worried, include an explanation in your application about why you printed the forms for your wife, but i don't think it will be necessary.

However, if I wrote an explanation and CIC happened to ask me for proof that my wife sent me the info I put in her forms I wouldn't be able to provide as she sent me info through Whatsapp and I deleted the messages once I filled the forms.

you, my friend, are really worrying too much over this we all have something in our applications that we feel is going to be the reason we're rejected. here's mine: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/if-i-am-denied-as-sponsor-t329772.15.html if my application can be approved no-questions-asked in THAT circumstance, i am telling you, they are not going to bat an eyelash at the size of your paper. i wouldn't even address it.

They likely won't even really notice that some forms are a different size and they really won't care if they do. Even if it was obvious some stuff was printed by you, it really is okay. Don't bother writing an explanation of why the paper sizes are different. If anything the explanation itself would seem odd. Please don't worry too much, the process is stressful enough as it is. No need to add to it .
