I applied for a paper-based work permit extension because my passport expires in June 2024. However, my application is still under review, and I can't even link it to my GC Key. My visa is valid until January 2025, and I have plans to travel to India for my wedding on February 2nd. Most of the advance payments for the wedding have already been made. Initially, an IRCC agent told me that visa processing would take about 4 months, but now I realize that paper-based applications take around 8-9 months. Is there any way I can still travel to India or speed up my visa process?
