PAKISTANI STUDENTS APPLYING FOR STUDY VISA

Guys,

i have a question...what is the most preferred way of applying for the Study Visa in Pakistan ?
PAPER BASED or ONLINE ?

Also, in the check list, there is no such thing that indicate that we have to send our Previous Educational Transcripts, Degrees to CIC office with the application package. So do we need to send these documents as well or not ??

Online is better, but apply atleast 6 months before you go to canada. The visa processing is very slow, since its in abu dhabi office.

And h about the educational documents ? Do i need to send them with my Application package too ?

I never submitted ILETS, police certificate, and any academic documents since there was no place to submit. I just submitted what was asked in online application. No less no more. Just keep it simple, that's my 2 paisay.

according to this forum paper based is faster than online,,,
if you got admission on the basis of educational docs or you mentioned in your application form then you should attach photocopies of all docs,,,

I have seen a few people who got visa but only submitting these documents. But in mooost cases, if you dont submit these docs (especially police certificate), they will ask you to send these and hence will further delay the application process. So, its better to submit.

Hi I applied for student visa on 23 september and received a call yesterday, 9 October, from canada visa office Isalamabad to collect the processed passport.
I have a question that is it a rejection or a passport back with medical as they did't mention any thing about medical?

Pakistani applicants are required to undergo a medical exam and since you haven't received the medical call so we can't say anything if it's an approval or rejection. But hope for the best and do let us know when you get back your passport

I want to submit my student visa application to VAC Karachi with upfront medical?

Just send an email to the IOM Karachi assessment center with your passport number,Full name, Date of Birth and type of visa; and they will give you an appointment. Visit the IOM Center according to your appointment schedule with your original passport. They will take different tests and provide you with an emedical information sheet. You have to upload that sheet with your online visa application and that's all.

Have you got your visa?

Because it is not needed. There is no option to submit it online so I never did and just submitted what was explicitly asked and I got Visa Alhumdulilallah.
