I applied for pr card renewal on humanitarian solid grounds while i was in canada and now i am in india . I received a letter from cic that i should apply for travel document only then we will decide pr renewal. What should i do ? Will they issue me pr card if i get travel document for canada ? How much time it will take ? Pl tell from which date my pr card will restart if i get it ?will they send my pr card in india ?
Pl help . If i get travel doc is it sure they will give me pr card renewal as i spent only one yr in canada.

CIC are effectively passing the decision buck to the visa post who it seem they believe will evaluate your declared H&C reasons as they are more familiar with the situation there. If visa post evaluate the film business is what kept you out of Canada then it will be tough getting a PRTD. If you get PRTD then CIC will issue PR Card. H&C PRTD applications are non routine and seem to be anywhere from 6 -16 weeks on this forum.
