I called the Immigration Office, and i asked them about OWP, they told me if you applied for a PR under Economic Class and you heard positive news about it, you will be eligible to apply for OPW but she said your currently closed work permit has to be expired with in 4 months from the time you will apply for OWP.
Is this true??
That is the bridge open work permit the CIC agent talked about to help you wait for the final result of your PR application.
