OWP not eligible for CEC?

Hi! Currently I have worked for Canadian company over a year on my open work permit issued with special policy, but when I filed for EE it said that my Canadain Experience Class is not met. My company does not issue an LMIA for me, could this be the reason why I am not eligible for CEC even thought it is a 0ab job ?

What do you mean by "open work permit issued with special policy"?

You should qualify for CEC if you have a year of work experience in Canada in a skilled NOC.

The job occupation I worked for the company is 2173 - Software Engineer, but without going through LMIA due to, well, OWP, therefore I wonder if this is the reason I am not quality for CEC despite of having 1 year of work experience in NOC 2173

You don't need to have an LMIA to qualify under CEC. There must be another issue.

So did you get work permit under the TR to PR pathway?

You don’t need a job offer or LMIA to be eligible for CEC. You just need the one year Canadian experience.

Thank you for the support, I am still doing researching regarding to this issue. After checking the requirement, my Canadian job offer is indeed valid, so I am not sure what went wrong. Will do my best to keep everyone updated

Currently on the status, it said my job offer is not valid, assuming this is the reason why I have not met CEC
