I'm from Sri Lanka. My wife is planning to come to Canada for a one year graduate certificate program in Human Resources Management. I'm thinking of applying for OWP once she received her student visa. I'm working as a Software Engineer and have 9+ years of work experience including 3 years in Singapore. After reading some threads in this forum, I saw that in some cases, the OWP is rejected. Can you guys share your experiences regarding OWP visas.
1. Will I be able to get OWP if I apply?
2. What are the main reasons for the rejections?
3. Is it better to apply a TRV first and apply OWP once I'm in Canada?
