Actually I found some info just now online that it is kind of bad to submit a visitor extension and a OWP near the same time.
Can I submit a request for a OWP after I submit my PR? I would like to wait until my visitor status is accepted.
I am worried to send the OWP with my PR (without extending visitor status) because I'll be sending in my PR application 2 weeks before my status expires.
1. If I didn't extend my visitor status, and apply for a OWP with my PR, will I have implied status (be able to stay) from the day I mail it, or would it start when they recieve it?
2. If I do wait to send my OWP, do I have to wait for a certain point along my PR app?
1. You would have implied status from date you post app until the decision is made or your app returned. If your app is returned for some reason and you dont extend your visitor status..you will then be out of status.

Ok I see, maybe it would be most wise to extend my visitor status first, send my PR application, and then send my OWP when I get principal in approval.
Would that be wise?
Also, what do you mean by the date I "post app" is that the day I send it or is that when they recieve it? Thanks

Ok it sounds like I will most likely extend my visitor status and let them know I will be mailing out my PR app two weeks after. Possibly submit my OWP when I get visitor extension accepted
I just want to take the safest route, even if it takes longer for me to work.
Also, how long does it take usually to recieve approval in principal?

Is it ok to submit a OWP while I am waiting for my visitor extension to be accepted? What happens if they accept it when I am on implied status waiting for visitor extension?
I read elsewhere that it is risky applying for a OWP while waiting for visitor extension to go through.
Also just to clarify, since I have seen contradicting answers to this question. When sending the OWP, will I be safe with implied status the date I send it, or the date of AoR? Thanks

I'd really just prefer to do it the safest way possible, and don't know quite what to do...
For example, if I apply for a visitor extension, then two weeks later apply for a OWP and send my PR.
Would this make problems arise since I would have two outgoing status changes- and what would happen if the OWP was accepted before the visitor extension. I am just genuinely confused and don't under stand if I should just-
A) Extend visitor status (for extra safety in case the OWP was denied) with PR then send in my OWP
B) Send in the OWP and PR at the same time, with no visitor extension
C) Extend visitor status 2 weeks before sending OWP and PR, ( I have no idea what happens if OWP is accepted during wait time for visitor extension, what happens?)
What would happen if the visitor extension was accepted AFTER the OWP was, would that make me a visitor instead of haveing a owp
