Overlap of dates in reference letter

Hi,

So I worked for a Company (say Company X) and they have issued the reference letter to me with the last working date as 5 October (based on their internal system).
However, I joined the new Company (say Company Y) on 9 September which has been reflected in the reference letter.

This has created an overlap of one month between two reference letter. What do I do in this scenario?

Any help would be appreciated.

The system would ignore any overlap.
You'd have to explain this overlap later, after the ITA.

So I can give a letter of explanation for this.

But I assume this is not a major issue then?
