Yes, you can apply for PR but remember, you will not get point against your writing which is 5.5. I would like to tell you that my first couzin had applied from toronto and his ielts score was (Reading : 5.5, Listening:6, Writing:6.5, Speaking:6) and his case has been approved with this IELTS score. He got 13 points in language and his overall points were 69. It is my personal experience, however, you can consult with others. Thanks

It is fact,actually, i prepared my couzin case and he got approval. Moreover, his wife IELTS score was 7. if you do not have 6 band in any module then you will not get points against that module.

Guys just tell me one thing for example i have completed ny studies and i get job now time has come to apply for Pr but my bands are overall 6 and 5.5 in reading so can i apply for PR? you guys are talking about re test so we have to give ielts once again in some canadian centre?
