I’m currently in Canada on a visitor visa. I recently got a job offer through the LMIA exempt mobilité francophone program. I know that I have to fill out the forms for outside Canada work permit, but can I submit the application while I’m here in Canada, or would it be better to go back to my home country to apply for the work permit while I’m physically there?

Thanks. Where in the forms do I specify that I’m currently outside of Canada? Would that be the travel history section that shows I have left Canada? And is it ok if I return to Canada after I submit my application?

Processing can take months and it makes it much harder to show you have strong ties to your home country and will return home after your WP expires if you keep spending time in Canada.
