Dear All,
I've been waiting for my application through Singapore for 17 months this October. I submitted my documents since June 2012 and my husband is eligible as a sponsor on August 13 2012. Since then there is no progress of my application. I tried to follow up to Singapore office about it and they said my application received on September 2012 in their office. And when i followed up again on September 2013 (actually i followed up once a month or every 2 months), my application is still pending initial review.
I wonder if they are processing my application or they don't touch it at all?
I am worried it takes forever to do the process. I can't work in here. A bit regret why i didn't apply inland and with a working permit.
Any suggestion what should i do? And why in my cic account always say "application received"? Also what is the meaning pending initial review?
