Outland spouse sponsorship proof of relationship!!!

Hi,

I would appreciate any advice...

I am applying under family class to bring my spouse to Canada. We got married last month.

As part of the requirements, CIC is asking for proof of relationship such as Letters, Social media conversations from whatsapp, facebook, etc,, our chats are mostly not in English, do we need to translate them? if yes, can I do it translated myself? since CIC is really just looking for proof of communication "screen shots for time stamps etc..". Certified translation for large documents would cost a lot.

You only need official translations for official documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates etc). You can translate chats and anything else similar yourself.
