Hello everybody,
I need some advice and help. I am a Canadian citizen by birth. I left my country in 2013, I got married here in the US to my spouse, got my green card that same year, and I became a citizen here in the US in 2018. We now have two children together. I plan on filing for their certificates of citizenship. We decided we want my husband to get his PR to Canada so we can permanently move there for a better future for us and our children. I am new to this process when we did mine to live here in the states it seemed much easier, and we used an immigration specialist. We’re not sure if we should use one for his PR. We want to do the Outland option because ultimately we do not want to be separated. Has anybody gone through this similar situation? Is it hard to do the paperwork on your own? Thank you

Yes, you would apply outland if you want all of the paperwork to be processed first and then move to Canada together. The vast majority of people here have done it themselves. No need for a lawyer / consultant. Follow the instructions here:
