I recently received a letter from CIC Mississauga informing me that my spouse's sponsorship application has been sent to CIC Islamabad. However, as I have been reading/noticing from this forum, chances are that the file could have also been sent to Ottawa instead. Now, how do I confirm where the file is, especially since I would like to send in additional documents. I called the call centre and was told they do not have such information on file. Can I email Ottawa, and if so, could anyone provide me with their email? Thanks a bunch in advance.

If the letter says Islamabad, then it's probably where it is. Some files go to Ottawa, but if that's the case, then it's specified on the sponsorship approval.
So for now - your file is most likely in islamabad, and there is a long waiting time, so good luck!

You can email Ottawa at OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca
Good luck!

^I think you misunderstood my question. I am not looking into changing any offices, it's just that sometimes files are sent to Ottawa even if they specify that it's been send to Islamabad. I read quite a few posts regarding this matter on this forum itself. Thanks anyway.
All Pakistani files are being forwarded to Ottawa. The reason being that they are trying to decrease the backlog in Islamabad. That being said your file will be approved in Islamabad in conjunction with Ottawa. Both offices are involved, even though they state your file is transferred to ISB it isn't. Its in Ottawa and will be forwarded to Islamabad eventually.
