Other Proofs of Common-Law

Hi Everyone!

So three questions:

1st- We're about ready to apply with our rental agreement.
I'm just wondering for CRA purposes. Is there a way that we could declare ourselves common law BEFORE the next tax year? or would we have to wait?

2nd- we're doing the new application and we don't see anywhere on it that you need testimonials AND we're not seeing that they need to be stat deca...
Anyone know anything different regarding the new application process?

3rd- it's limited us to a total of 20 pictures. But in another part it talks about social media proof. So.. we SHOULD assume those social media pictures aren't included in the specific 20 pictures?

Hi ,
Yes you can declare your Marital Status Change to CRA before next year's Tax filing .
2- you need to check your country's guide for what you need to provide not the forms .
3- Social Media is not only pictures , limit yourself to 20 pictures if you are to include social media pictures as well . You can print your FB time line page to show people interactions about things you and your spouse did together .
