silly question? When I finish filling out the form and answering all the questions on separate sheets of paper, do I put the answers (on the separate sheet) behind the form or in between the form after page with the question?

Form is there to fill up. If you need extra page for 1 or 2 or 3 question then you can write on extra page and attach with the form.
I filled up that form and did not need extra page.
Are you writing HISTORY ?

Remember, nobody feels good to read a lot and that will discourage the examining Visa officer to read a lot of your form and call you for interview that is time consuming.

you think so? I remember another forum member stating that most of your answers should be long ( not too long but longer than the app space). Someone also said that applications that don't have enough information take longer to process and get called for interviews. The opposite. Maybe I was misinformed...So I took their advice. Most of the questions are on a separate sheet. Most are half a page, a few full pages and one two page..they are very factual and straight forward i think....Thanks for the advice. I will re-look at my answers.. :-\
I disagree, it's better to give more info than not. The main reason VOs schedule interviews is because they don't have enough info in the first place. Of course, its important to not give them too much useless info and just get to the point.
Personally i hardly doubt you would get penalized for taking too long an answer, if you are factual and accurate. I mean we are dealing with our lives here so as far as i am concerned the visa officer can read it all, or skim it if he wishes. Just my 2 cents.
A VO gives an interview, because they lack info about your relationship. They see your evidence and proof, but they have doubts, because they don't have the whole story, so they schedule an interview so they can get additional info. If you be as detailed as possible with your answers, you can calm any doubts they have.
On each additional page, put the applicants name D0B put down the form number and the question #. Just put them at the back of the other forms . From what i hear they just move every thing around anyway . Photo copy as much as you can just incase they lose your application . Also so you can refer to questions if they ever call you or send you for an interview . Send what ever you can . Better to be safe then sorry .For some people who has been married a long time its not so important but if this has been less than two years send every thing .
Thanks everyone for your reply.

For each additional page, I made header and footnotes. For example, the header read
my inital, my last name IMM5490: Question 15 page 1
In footnotes and in the paragraph in small letters (for example) refer to evidence: pages 2-5 of blah blah. The longest answer was almost 2 pages, it was about our dating history. I also provided a timeline (suggested by another forum member) and made reference to our evidence in that as well. It seemed a little repetitive but I tried to be as straight forward and to the point as possible.
We were going to send our application earlier but I remember reading about a couple who CIC lost there evidence, so we have been making copies of all the evidence(ticket stubs, my flight itineraries, stubs from dates to the movies, to games, cards, letters, receipts ect.) in case they lose it, we have back up you know.
Thanks everyone

Well done, sounds like you have it all under control . Good luck ;D
