Options for EU citizens to settle down in canada or to get work permit

I would like to know how can an EU citizen come to canada for work and eventually find a path to permanent residency.

Same as anyone else research the various immigration programs, there is no specific EU program

Depending on age maybe apply for a working holiday permit when that program opens again

Other than that you would need an employer to sponsor a job offer backed up by an LMIA to show no resident is available which generally can be almost impossible, more so with COVID
