Hi Everyone,
My mother has a multiple-entry visitor visa for Canada. She stayed in Canada for more than 6 months and overstayed by 10 days. However, her multiple-entry visa to Canada is still valid until 2028. She also holds a multiple-entry visitor visa for the USA.
What are her options now? Can she apply for restoration of status, or is it possible for her to cross the nearest USA border by road and then re-enter Canada?
I would appreciate your advice.
Thank you!

And moving forward you want to be aware of when you need to extend there stay .
Government announced new rules on visas. One of the things they’ll be looking at did the person comply with the rules on the visa they had ?
She hasn’t .
