Option C-Printout requested. for PGP PR application

Hi everyone.

Any one received request to submit Option C-Printout for PGP PR application.

I applied for PGP application in june2024.

I had less income than minimum required in 2022, I am self-employed and takes dividend income from my corporation,

I asked accountant to draw more dividend for 2022 and refile personal tax with more income than minimum required and CRA assessed new Income on line 15000 for 2022 and Summited application after CRA updated income.

My wife was on Employment insurance in 2022, Now I Received letter from Mississauga case processing office to provide 2022 Option C-printout for my wife. IF IRCC just see my revised CRA income, Its way over Minimum required for 2022, and still they want to see my wife's income. It doesn't make sense to see my wife income as my alone income is over required income.

Is IRCC just want to get all details of income before they assesses sponsorship Income qualification?

Is there any one get trouble for updating income with CRA and application processing?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't think any of us here can tell you for certain. I would submit your wife's NOA as asked and also order GCMS notes to see if there are any concerns with your application.

Want to comment that you’re not self employed.
Your corporation is your employer .
Obviously your accountant will be amending your corporation T2 to reflect the higher dividend draw from your corporation for that year and has filed an amended T5 for that year and has paid the additional taxes on the increased dividends

I assume it was a T5 that was involved and NOT a T4. This can be construed as retroactive tax planning

You might want to call the CRA business line to ensure that your 2022 T2 has been amended as well, and make sure and amended T5 has been filed

You may be subject to a penalty for that amended T5 since it was amended with new information after the deadline from 2022
