OPTION C PRINTOUT - 2015

Dear friends,

I am PR holder in Canada and will travel to India on 7th Feb to get married on 14th Feb. I will return to Canada on 01 March and plan to submit our sponsorship and application documents to CPC in the first week of March 2015.

I am working here with a bank and will get my T-4 most likely in the first or second week of February and file my tax return thereafter.

I will need to submit original Option C printout for the most recent taxation year. If I order Option C printout say in the third week of this month, I will get it in about 10-14 days but it will be for the tax year 2013. Should I include this in my application with proof of employment, copy of T-4, salary slips and an explanation that Option C printout for 2014 will be submitted later. If yes, where and how will I be able to send it? To CPC-Mississauga or NDVO?

The other option is to return to Canada and order Option C form at that time in March which may delay application submission by 3-4 weeks.

The purpose of showing Option C is that the sponsor is paying tax and is not on welfare. So if you add Option C of 2013 and state the reason, it wont be an issue. You may send the latest one later with explanation letter when you get it. Once your case is approved your will get to know where your file is transferred and where you have to communicate with CIC in future.

Apply for Option C of the latest year, as case preparation and compilation takes much time, it might have arrived by the time your case is ready to ship.

Thanks for your response, wishes and blessing. I have already filled-up all the forms (have kept a screen shot of forms as of today) and will compare these for any updates prior to submission. I will be in India for 3 weeks and will collect all other documents (photos, marriage certificates, proof of relationship etc) during this period. My plan is to submit documents in the first week of March, immediately after returning to Canada.

Oh that is great but do not forget to get signatures of your spouse on her forms and on your forms as well (they are few places where you both need to sign. I don't remember it now)

Thanks. I will remember that. And the good part is that my future wife has Canadian multiple visitor visa and will travel with me on 01 March to spend maximum permissible time with me.

Just in case, is there a CRA number to order Option C printout from outside Canada?
