hello to all the readers, just want to ask for the best/ expert advice:
I am currently here in Philippines with a certificate of caregiver course (LIVE IN CAREGIVER PROGRAM), I have a job offer in Canada with positive LABOR MARKET OPINION, all i need to do is to gather all my requirements and submit my applications here in Philippines. But the thing is it takes almost 2 yrs to process my application from here going to Canada.
1. Can I go to Hongkong and submit my application there? (because it takes only 3-6 months for the processing) 0r
2. Can i work for hongkong as a nanny temporary and submit my application there while I am working?
I dont need to have a minimum of 1 year experience related to caregiver program because I have a certificate of training. I just want to my papers to speed up thats why.

If you can have legal status while in HK then you can probably apply in HK. But I think you have to sign a contract of at least one year to legally stay and work in HK. But the processing of a job for HK would take a while already. When is your LMO going to expire?
my opinion is expiring at the end of January 2010, my employer is willing to renew it.
If I got a job from hk legally, i assumed I can terminate the contract if the Canada grant me visa, is that possible?
The processing of visa in HK takes about 3 weeks now. But domestic helpers who process there needs at least a year of experience but provided that you already have a degree in caregiving, I dunno if that 1 year experience rule still applies to you if you decide to sign a contract there to be able to process. It should be a 2 year contract.
