My partner and I are moving over cone August time and I'm looking to open a Canadian bank account from abroad.
I'm a resident in the U.K but a Canadian citizen as my mother was from Ontario. So have Canadian passport and SIN number but no Canadian address.
I did initially look at Scotiabanks start right account opening from abroad but that require immigration papers and a PR card.... which being a citizen already I don' have.
Does anyone have any tips on this one that could point me in the right direction?
Yeah did check into HSBC but checking in their site it looks like you have to have an existing account with them before applying for an overseas account, which I don't. Please correct me if I'm waaaay offml. Cheers
