Hi All,

Myself and my wife is working in Toronto on workpermit from our respective employers. After a month she is getting transferred to her office in British Columbia. Since my company is not in BC I'm planning to look for a job in BC. For that I need a workpermit. I have following questions on this

1. My wife's workpermit is valid for another 2 years. Can I apply for an spousal open workpermit, which will enable me to work for any employer.
2. I would want to be on my current job and search for the new job. If I apply for an open workpermit, can the existing workpermit will get cancelled ?

Could anyone please help me with these queries.
