I am eligible for an open work permit as my spouse is attending a fulltime program at a community college. i do know how to apply for it. but i am not able to understand how to apply for a "MULTIPLE ENTRY" work permit. i will appreciate if someone can answer me whether an eligible applicant is allowed to apply for a "multiple entry" permit. if yes, how to go about it.
I am currently in canada on a visitors visa.

there's no such thing as "multiple entry work permit".. so long as you have a work permit you can apply for a multiple re-entry visa..
Thank you for the reply. Did u mean that once i get an open work permit i can apply for a re entry/ make it multiple, and how do i do it? I just want to make sure before i leave Canada that i am eligible to return. Kindly guide me how and where to apply for this multiple re entry visa you mentioned about.
