Hello Friends, I need your Help..

I am still waiting for my open work permit Now, Its almost 3 and half months gone. For acknowledge I applied for open work visa at vfs Chandigarh on April 3 and today date is 18 July I haven't get any reply from them.. I just want to know that If I will do request to them and send them email.. It should be fine Bcz my agent told me don't need to do that just wait.. So, Please help me out friends If anybody can..

i have also applied OWP from VFS chandigarh...could you please let me know in which category u have applied and have u got any medical request from them or not.

Hi Harpreet,

I have applied on 11 June VFS Chandigarh.

But you have applied in april and it's about more than 3 months and processing time given for OWP that is 3 months.

I have seen 2 guys who have applied in april in delhi and they have got their medical request within 2 months.

Due to strike the applications have been delaying.

This delaying really painful i don't know when it will be fruitful.

Hope for the best .. and everyone get their visa's

Ok thnx for reply bcz Canadian immigration doesn't like to give reply.. I red somewhere ,they were saying Vfs Chandigarh is slow in visa processing as compare to delhi.. but now I can see in your link many guys waiting for visas even who applied in delhi ..

Hi Calgary, Ok might be you are right. Have u got medical request or not bcz Almost 5 months done for ur application.

But how come few guys who applied at VFS delhi high commission still getting their visas with in 3 months. Too much confusion Boss.....

WE can't do anything except wait. So, Keep wait until we nt gonna get the visas.

I have submitted my application in UAE.
If you check the Canadian embassy website , they have
Updated that there is a delay due to strike.
So expect delays. I am also waiting impatiently
To hear from the embassy.

hi guys ..i applied for spousal open work permit in newdelhi through VFS on march 18, 2013 and now on july 24,2013 today my status in vfs site is :
Your Passport Status
Passport has been dispatched through Courier via Airway Bill #:. You can track your passport Status by visiting the website: www.bluedart.com.
Note: The airway bill no. will be updated on the website by the next working day from the dispatch date of your passport.Incase of Hold Passport Request: Your Passport has been held on Request at Delhi OC.

what happened to my visa..anybody have any idea?
