Question:
My current status is a closed work permit. I received AOR on May 21 2021 under the BCPNP tech pilot program. Waiting for PR to be processed.
Now, I got a job offer from a new employer and they want me to join on March 28 2022 as I am still waiting for PR.
I am a bit confused as my closed work permit is going to expire in December 2022 (But I heard that I can apply 4 months before now as per the new policy).
Should I wait for the PR to be processed or should I apply for a bridging open work permit? Is there any issue you foresee in applying for a bridging open work permit at this stage of my PR (GCMS attached)?
Please suggest.
