We are September 2018 Inland Spousal Applicants from Vancouver, BC. Our application along with OWP, PCC and Schedule A was received by Mississauga, ON office on September 12.
We got our AOR 29 days later on Oct 11 and successfully linked our application to MyCIC. However, we are having a trouble finding and linking our OWP on MyCIC.
Those who already received their OWP, please share your experience and answer the following questions:
How long did it take you to receive your OWP from the date you submitted?
Was there an email notification or update on eCAS before your received your OWP in the mail?
Could you please give us a step-by-step instruction on how you linked your OWP to MyCIC?
Yeah, that's what I thought so and tried it numerous times. So far, I was only able to link the application but not the OWP.
Were you able to link them both after your received your AOR?
Hmmm... I just tried it again and it worked LOL! But somehow, it says that the date they received it is Sep 5 when our application was sent on Sep 10. Maybe its the date we signed on the form. Anyways... life is good!

Interesting that you were able to link both of them on the same day with your AOR. In my case, I was able to link the app first on the same day and had to wait 3 days to link my OWP.
Super useful thread that I'll probably have to come back to when my time comes, haha.
Quick question a recent applicant might be able to answer for OWP: Under "Details of Intended Work" question 5 asks for dates for duration of expected employment. I have no idea how to answer this since I don't have an an employment offer or anything. The guide isn't helpful since it clearly states I don't have to answer (do I leave blank?) questions 2-4 and 6-8, but doesn't list question 5.

The UCI number on your AOR is for the Sponsor. However, right underneath the UCI number, there should be an Application Number starting with letter F followed by 9 digits. It will be the same number for both the Sponsor and PA since the application was filed together. Use it to link your PR app on MyCIC with your GCKey and retrieve your own UCI from there, and then use your own UCI number to link your OWP to your MyCIC with your GCKey. Hope it makes sense

It worked! It says it was received on September 5 when my application wasn't submitted till September 13, which is weird lol. But we're all linked now! Now I just need to stop compulsively checking it.....

Im sorry, Im having a hard time following. I JUST linked my PR application through my husbands (the sponsor) Banking. the only application showing is for PR. I then created my own account and also linked the PR application. I am not seeing any information for an OWP. They were sent at the same time. As well as an extension for Visitor Visa. Do I just need to wait for that information or am I missing a step here?
