I am already in Canada on a work permit with 2 years validty
My wife is in NY,USA.

1. Can she apply for an open work permit at NY Canadian consultate??
2. Is it by any chance I can submit the application here in Canada?
3. Can I pay the applicable fees of 150$ here in Canada??
4. How much time typically it would take to process her open work permit?
5. What if my wife do not give the original passport along with her application.Will that be fine?
