Hi guys,
I have an open work permit for CANADA until may 2014 but don't have a TRV and I left Canada before I applied for a new TRV. Is there any way I can apply for a TRV from outside of CANADA(from india)?
how do I do it? Links are welcome
Thanks and Regards,
Aasim Sakharkar
You need to apply for TRV to have one, check cic.gc.ca

You apply to either New Delhi or Chandrigarh for a TRV.
Do I need medical examination done before I appply????
aasim_sak,
As I believed that medical exam is not needed for application of TRV, you can check document checklist for application of TRV, just to be sure.

Jon

Nothing is mentioned in the Checklist but i think for a trip of more than 6 months you have to undergo a medical examination
Do I need a medical exam to get a visa?
If the duration of your visit is six months or less:
Generally, no medical examination is required.
However, a medical examination is required if you intend to work in an occupation in which the protection of public health is essential. Please see Jobs for which you need a medical examination for more information.
If the duration of your visit is more than six months:
You will need a medical examination if:
you have resided or stayed temporarily for six or more consecutive months in a designated country or territory in the one year immediately preceding the date you sought entry into Canada. This applies even if you are a citizen of a country where you do not require a visa to enter Canada.
you are coming to Canada to work in an occupation in which the protection of public health is essential. See Jobs for which you need a medical examination for more information.
you are applying for a Parent and Grandparent Super Visa.
This solves my query ;D
