Open Work Permit as Spouse

My husband has held a closed work permit in Canada for the past three years. We recently formalized our marriage in 2024. Currently, as I reside outside of Canada, we are in the process of applying for my open work permit from India, contingent upon his closed work permit. I have completed the following application forms: 1. IMM 1295E 2. IMM 5257_1E 3. IMM 5476 4. IMM 5488 5. IMM 5707E 6. IMM 5753 7. IMM 5905 Additionally, I have included all relevant supporting documents, including my husband’s closed work permit, his pay slips, and his passport. I would appreciate any guidance you may provide regarding the subsequent steps in this process. Thank you for your assistance.

What is his NOC and TEER? Rules changed yesterday and many spouse’s are no longer eligible.

So also include WP as you want expiry date past 6 months. LMIA approval too. Proof of relationship like pictures, texts etc because if he has been in Canada for 3 years then you cannot have spent much time together. IRCC wants to see proof the marriage is genuine.

The aforementioned document has been finalized, and we currently have 16 months remaining on his work permit, in accordance with the new guidelines established by the IRCC. We have the option to submit the visa application independently or to engage the services of a qualified attorney who can conduct a comprehensive review of our application prior to submission.
I would appreciate your recommendations on how to proceed.
