I have a question regarding my PR application and the Open work permit. Currently I am enrolled in a school in Canada but unfortunately the degree I am doing is not eligible for the Post Graduating Visa. My study permit expires this June but I'm hoping to send my PR application with the OWP at the end of this month.
If my study permit expires while I am waiting for my OWP, can I still work part time during the OWP is being processed? Right now my study permit allows me to work max 20 hours per week.

If his/her study permit expires while He/she is waiting for OWP, does she/he can continues work? My understand is after study permit expired, she/he may not able to work, because he/she may be in implied status. I’m not sure.
Need to ask experts.

No, OP can't work on Implied Status. If the study permit expires before receiving written confirmation of program completion, OP must stop working at that point. People generally receive confirmation prior to permit expiry.
