Open permit and LMO

Hi,my name is Florida,I`m currently working as a live-in caregiver and ready to file my open permit soon because I`ve already completed 24 months of employment.I just finished my contract with my current employer and now found a new employer.She is willing to sponsor me and apply for LMO.What should I do because I`m now eligible to file my open permit and permanent residency.I was just wondering if my employer still needs to get LMO even if I`m open permit already
