Hello everyone, I got my PR card in 2019 and intend to move in 2022.

Has anyone here been able to open a bank account from outside Canada?

I was told CIBC was allowing online verification but when I called them, they asked me to visit one of their branches.

TD and BMO seem to have similar restrictions.
