Is there anyone eligible for the French-Speaking Skilled Workers Stream? Or someone who go the PT Notification of Interest?

Hi,
I am gathering my documents to apply to the french speaking stream.
I am a French native and got the highest score for TEF and got overall 6.5 for IELTS.
Have you already applied to the French speaking stream program?

Hi,

No, I scheduled TEF on 29th. I didn't expect to have this option so I didn't pass it earlier, which was stupid of me.

I speak French very well, but I'm lousy in writing and spelling (thanks to spelling checks). I used to be very good when I was in school (passed DELF and DALF, but they are out of date). I just hope I will manage to prepare it well to have the score Ontario requires.

Did you get the PT Notification to apply?

Hey, I was also waiting for some insights from Ichou.

I have done my TEF and I'm waiting for the results now. They should be out in about 10 days. I hope I will have the points needed to get invited. SO for now, I have no useful things to share unfortunately.

I have cleared DEFL A2 exam but that was about more than two years now.. and also TEF is required for this ..

so what will be the minimum level of french required for this stream?

And the requirements:

OOPNP searches the Express Entry pool and identifies potential candidates who meet the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream criteria (see Section 2 for more information):
- Minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7 in French and CLB 6 in English;
- Minimum work experience for either the FSWP or the CEC criteria;
- Equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor’s degree or above;
- Sufficient settlement funds; and
- An intention to reside in Ontario.

If OOPNP identifies you in the Express Entry pool, you will receive a PT Notification of Interest from Ontario through your MyCIC account. This notification will invite you to apply to OOPNP for nomination under the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream

I also checked the application guide... and found below language requirements for this stream:

3.3 LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
You must demonstrate official language proficiency equivalent to the Canadian
Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 or above for each language competency (i.e.,
listening, reading, writing, and speaking) in French and CLB 6 in English.
Please provide copies of language test results from either IELTS (General Training
Test only), CELPIP (General Test only), or TEF.
You will be required to have the following minimum scores in each of the language
competencies:

Listening: IELTS 5.5 or CELPIP 6 AND TEF 249-279
Reading: IELTS 5.0 or CELPIP 6 AND TEF 207-232
Writing: IELTS 5.5 or CELPIP 6 AND TEF 310-348
Speaking: IELTS 5.5 or CELPIP 6 AND TEF 310-348

Yes, we have to get all the documents they require and pay the fees.

No, I was also wondering that, but as we have to indicate EE profile number, I guess this is how they track us.
