Hi,

I have got PT interest from Ontario today after recreating my profile. Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have shown experience for following time period in my EE profile.
Nov'2013-Feb'2015 in NOC 1254. This experience is falling under recent 5 years which is the requirement of Human Capital Priorities Stream.
Jul'2008-Aug'2010 in NOC 1313. I have based my EE application on this NOC.
May'2007-Jul'2008 in NOC 1312.

I have few questions from the perspective of getting employment reference letters for showing it to Ontario.

1. Human Capital Priorities stream requirement is minimum one year of experience in recent 5 years in NOC O/A/B. NOC 1254 is B category and falling under recent 5 years. For Ontario nomination purpose, can I show work experience reference letter for time period Nov'13-Feb'15 and let go the remaining ones (which I have shown in my EE profile) as they are not falling under recent 5 years.

2. Roles and responsibilities of my present job since Mar'2015 matches with NOC 1254 as well but I did not mention that in my EE profile because I was not sure if my present employer will give reference letter or not. But assuming that my present employer agrees, Can I also show the experience of my present job as well to Ontario. This would mean more than 2 years of experience in same NOC in recent 5 years. If yes, then do I need to modify my EE profile by adding work experience of my present job? Or Can I send the employment reference letter of my current job directly to Ontario without updating my EE profile.

Please advice.

A: Yes, you can do that, but in OINP application form work & personal history table are the same, where you need to fill the history (personal or work) for the last 10 years without any gaps. Hence you willy nilly you need to mention about your other work experiences also. Whether you provide reference letter or not is your choice and may not be required as you are already satisfying the OINP requirement with NOC 1245 job in the last 5 years. All this you can explain/mention in your LoE that you should attach.
2. Roles and responsibilities of my present job since Mar'2015 matches with NOC 1254 as well but I did not mention that in my EE profile because I was not sure if my present employer will give reference letter or not. A: Yes, you can show NOC 1245 experience also to OINP (as explained above) and you must update your EE profile accordingly as well, and be prepared with the relevant reference letters should you receive an ITA later as those will be needed by CIC.
Please advice.

Thanks a lot.

Also, can you advice me how to prepare for arranging documents. Is there something that I need to read apart from OINP application guide. I once saw a post here which stated details about Ontario PNP application details in a step by step manner.

Yes, thats a good guide to refer on this forum...but OINP Application Guide is self sufficient and very comprehensive. Also do refer to their & CIC websites wherever asked to or needed to respectively.
