hi all...
im a bit confused on this....to be eligible for ontario pnp as an international student candidate must have
Graduated (or soon be graduating) from an approved publicly funded Canadian college or university in the past two years;

you can visit this on http://www.canadavisa.com/ontario-provincial-nominee-program.html#International_Student_Category

it means that after completing PGD or any other certificate or diploma wont allow the candidate to apply for pnp...am i right?

candidate must be graduated or have a DEGREE to be eligible for this.
if this is the scenario then it makes more difficult for an international student to have PR...almost impossible

plz give suggestions...thanx

International Masters Graduate Stream is a pilot project specifically for MS graduates only. In this program MS students can apply for Provincial nomination even without a job.

International Students with a Job Offer Important point concerning your query is this: Have completed a minimum of a two-year diploma or degree program, while studying on a full-time basis. One-year post-graduate degree programs and certificate programs, which require a previous degree or diploma (which may have been obtained abroad), are also eligible.

It means if you complete a PG degree or certificate program that is at least one academic year (2 semesters) in length, you qualify... provided you have a permanent full-time job in NOC 0,A,B.

Please note that the admission requirements for this PG degree/certificate program must be a previous degree or diploma (not necessarily Canadian). If your PG degree/certificate's admission requirements say "degree/diploma OR work experience" then you probably don't qualify. If they say only "degree/diploma" then I think you do.

Not a 100% on this. Wait for somebody else's reply.
