Ontario PNP, will it be a new PR Application or speed up the existing one?

My FSW is under process (not under process should be the correct phrase) since 2005. I am now going under study permit for fall 2012 session for MEng in Ontario. I intend to apply for a Ontario PNP in my summer 2013 and then change my status to PGWP until i get PR.

My question is, will the Ontario PNP recommendation be used to speed up my existing FSW application of 2005 (i.e if pre feb 2008 cases are not gotten rid of by then) or will i be applying for a new PR case?
