Friends, need some advise. Right now i am at 400 points and awaiting the opening of OINP (In Nov will reduce to 395). I have maxed my IELTS and my spouse is currently at 8 and trying for band 9 (which will make our score 423). We are in US and with our age factor looming, we were checking all our options. My spouse's employer seems to be flexible to allow her to work remotely from Canada. For this to work from what i read it should be through a Canadian consultancy or PEO firm. If anyone on this forum has any details on this arrangement with such a firm and if you can please share it, it will help.
Unfortunately I don't know what the details of this arrangement should be, but I'm keeping an eye for any replies here. My current employer also might be flexible about letting me work remotely from Canada, so I will explore that option if I don't find something else before moving to Canada. Do keep us posted on any more information you get.
Had a question. My current CRS score is 400 (with spouse), which will change to 403 without spouse.
1. While the options at the moment are limited for HCP to open and receive
an NOI, can someone advise if I should choose the option of without Spouse and create a new profile.
2. Will this help in any way?
3. If I create a profile without spouse, and am able to make it through OINP, ITA & .... [[ oh God please, make this happen ]], will my wife have to apply for PR separately or as a dependent later on ? I would want her to be employed in future also.
If anyone can throw some light, it will be helpful.
That was as of Aug 8, so in the last one month they may have given around 1000 nominations already. Hopefully there should be some announcement on the remaining nominations
Looking at the immitracker, it seems they're giving priority to ICTs.
I'm already 20 days in DIP, and no email from IRCC, nor any change in the Ontario account. No ADRs or nothing.
They're being so slow after the draw, can't understand why.
The faster they finish processing our files, the faster they open the HCP stream for the ones waiting for their chance.

As we are all anticipating OINP to open sometimes soon, either in the remaining days of 2016 or sometimes in 2017 - I propose we all get together here, chat, discuss, share updates, predict and then share good news... once PT notifications would start coming through. First of all there is a good thread with info on OINP: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-im...ies-stream-comprehensive-guide-t396543.0.html prepared by rajkamalmohanram.
Secondly, we have a watsapp group, pm or leave your number if you want to be added. Finally, I am new to OINP myself, so I will try help whenever I can with advise or provide a pointer where to look for an advice.
