Hi, I have received Expression of Interest from Ontario PNP yesterday. I have 3 years work experience in the past ten years in Skill level NOC B. However I have only got 10 months experience in the past 5 years in Skill Level NOC B, but I have already covered 1560 hours of full time work in these months. Am I eligible to apply for OINP ? Please help.
I think u can apply. I am also expecting to have required working hours before one year, and I am thinking to apply right way. And would u please tell ur CRS score please?
Hi
Even I received expression of interest from Ontario. Now my concern is do I need a job offer to qualify and get nominated. I am deeply confused as I have not yet got job and applying from outside Canada.

Since you got the expression of interest, you can apply to OINP without a job offer, under what they call the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
OINP with job offer is a separate stream outside of HCPS.
But now I have one more query. I recently got married in July the funds are mostly in my husbands account but I am the main applicant. Can I submit a bank statement along with letter stating from him that he does not have problem in me using the funds because he is accompanying me to Canada and this money is a gift to me not a loan.
I have just called Ontario Immigration regarding the confusion. I have told them that I have covered 1560 hours in 10 months. Will I get a nomination confirmation or not since I have not got experience of one year in the past five years? They told me it depends , there is a possibility that you can get it but there is a chance that the profile get rejected. If it gets rejected, I would not get a nomination or even if you withdraw the profile and re apply there is no guarantee that I will get a nomination again, but If I do not apply they will not send me nomination ever. Shall I apply and take the risk or shall I withdraw the profile and re apply in January.
@ vj3171: To tell the truth, I've heard of a few conflicting cases about this. In some, CIC only accepts jointly named accounts between spouses. I'm not sure if OINP will accept this. In others, I've read about CIC accepting the spouse's bank account in the principal applicant's application, as long as there is a letter. I've not heard of any direct cases with OINP yet, but I'd like to assume they try to follow CIC protocol.
@ dan1985: Sorry, I am not sure about this past 5 years/10 years rule from OINP or the nuances of this rule. I take it that the 10 months are fixed and that you are not currently working in this NOC anymore so you will not earn any more time, right? Is there no other NOC from your past 5 years where you have minimum 1 year experience that you can apply as instead?
What did you finally decide to do? I am in a similar position, with funds in my husbands account. Should it work? Does have Fixed Deposit qualify as well?

I got ITA on 11 Sep and application submitted on 26th October, just wanted to ask how much time it will take as I am bit confuse that they have said 90 days but in between December and January they are not working is it true? Will my application get delay because of this?
