Hello friends,
Looking forward to your expert suggestion please.
My employer had applied for my Ontario PNP Employer stream in Jan'2016 & still not sure what is happening as i have not received anything.
Any idea how long it usually takes as I need to start applying for my PR here so waiting for those points from PNP.

thank you in advance

It might take around 1 year but some times it takes more than that time.
I am not sure how much you know about OINP- Employer stream. PR application process under this stream is paper based. So you never get points for this.

After positive response for Pre-Screen application you have to apply for Ontario PNP Nomination before applying for PR.

Pre-Screen application (Around 1 year) --> Ontario PNP Nomination (To be applied by Employee - Around 4-6 months) --> Paper based PR application (Around 15 months).

Hello, thanks. I know they have applied for my Pre-Screening (OINP Employer) in Jan'16. Any idea where I can check my status with my application number? And, should I expect to hear from then this month with some positive news?

I recommend you to ask your employer to send the status query to OINP.
