I am holding a US B2 tourist visa, and thinking of applying for a Canada visitor visa in Sydney.
1. If I apply online, do they require me to send over my passport as in person paper lodgement? Or they have electronic visa system that does not need a visa label on my passport? How do I send my passport (in person or by post?)
2. If I apply in person, can my authorised contact person lodge the paper application at the visa office on my behalf? Or I have to come there and lodge it myself?
3. On the website, they say "2 recent passport photos for each family member". So if I am applying for myself only, do I need to provide them with my mum and dad's photos? Kinda hard, cos they're in another country while I am living in Australia...

1. If the TRV is approved, then you send your passport.
2. Sydney Australia? The instructions are here for in person: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/australia-australie/visas/apply-how_demande-comment.aspx?lang=eng&view=d#person
3. Just yourself.
