Online study permit applcation

Hi,

I am a pakistani living in Bahrain, i took the online study permit filiing eligibility test and it allowed me to apply online but i am not sure and it seems fishy. due to the updates to the CIC website there is a lot of contradicting information (New and Old).

Please let me know if anyone from the third world who resides in GCC has applied online, What happens after the online process?

Also even the list of required documents for online application are different from the checklist on Abu Dhabi embassy website. Please clarify.

I'm in the same situation also. The checklist is longer in the paper-based than online, so i decided to still apply online but with the required docs in checklist.

Hi! I'm from the Philippines who applied for my visa online. After completing the application process, you will receive a message form CIC indicating your application ID number and some details. You will be advise via your email on any updates (including application status, medical exam request, other documents required). You will also be informed that you need not send your passport immediately or other documents unless being demanded by CIC.

i am applying for a student permit. how many weeks is the processing time for online compared to paper based?
