online status not updated

Hi
I applied for sponsorship parents in 2017 which i received an email that i m eligible and file has transfer-ed to Ottawa, medical requested for my mom and done in May then in June i received an email to provide police check and copy of new passport and to pay the right of landing fee which every thing submitted and confirmed by email that was received, but since then there is no update online to state that document received , Is it normal that there is no update on file, and what is the next step

I emailed them with all details no respond after 2 weeks just the automated response

Ive had the opposite problem where we don't receive emails just messages through our online account!
