Online Graduate certificate for FSW draws

Hello guys, I am planning to take up a 1yr online graduate certificate (Credential: Ontario College graduate certificate) course from a DLI college in Ontario Canada

I would like to know, will this online certificate be considered as a valid/recognised certificate that I can use to gain CRS points to apply for PR under FSW stream ? Or online those certificates which are completed on-campus will be considered valid for immigration?

Basically, while calculating CRS points for express entry profile with the above online certificate and a ECA of bachelors degree, can I choose the below option under level of education:

5. Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more Years

If you have an approved study permit, then it may be possible.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, online courses do not qualify for a study permit. Hence, will I still be able to use this certificate to claim my CRS points in FSW/express entry under level of education?

Never heard that online courses don’t qualify. You should be able to claim but not for Canadian education.
