Hello Friends and Seniors,
I have got admit from Ottawa fall 2014 for MS CS.
I am done with GIC and one term fee. Will be applying for VISA shortly. But confused between VFS(Paper based) vs CIC(Online).
Can anyone tell me which one is a better way to go for it?
I am from Delhi, so people usually say i can go with either way. Both are same for me.
I request seniors(Regina, Tiger) to please guide me in this regard with their experiences.
Thank u propain.
Can you please tell me how to fill study permit questionaire...I cant do it online..So filling it manually with pen after taking printout.

To just add my bit. Online did indeed result in unnecessary delay in few cases. In my case, I had applied on 22nd Feb for Fall'14 and nothing happened on the file till 2nd week of May (by when many Fall applicants already got their visa). I had to withdraw my online application eventually and and re-apply through VFS on 23rd May.
I know of another May applicant here who even after applying online on March, got his visa last week of April just couple of days before term commencement.
Again, surely there are cases where online application went just fine.

Hi,
How long did it take for GIC certificate to come to you after wiring the funds?
Also did you only provide your account number for it or gave any additional details???
Hello to everyone! I am new here on this thread but as early as my first post here I'd like to ask if anybody here has ideas on the section "Purpose of Travel" requirement for Spouse as a dependent in my Study permit application. Is a letter enough to state that he wants to accompany me? and if yes, how does this letter differ from a Letter of Intent we intend to submit under the Optional Documents?
Thanks alot!
