ONIP and NOC Occupations

Hello guys,

I am a Cybersecurity Engineer, working in IT, Networking and Security, the NOCs close to my job are the followings (in sequence):

Level A: NOC 2171: Information Systems Analysts and Consultants
Level 0: NOC 0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers
Level B: NOC 2281: Computer Network Technicians
Level B: NOC 2283: Systems Testing Technicians


But I haven't seen any of them are permitted in the OINP program:

under: 2. Eligible occupation


So does this mean OINP won't help me?

Ontario only invites certain NOCs in HCP that is what you mention. If your job doesn't fall in that category they don't send you an invitation to consider for PNP.

is OINP is the Ontario PNP?
or they are different things?

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program - ONIP it is the PNP program for Ontario. There are different streams under it -HCP, investors, international graduate etc but ONIP is Ontario's PNP.

Hi, You have any idea when the next HCP draw would take place ?

It's hard to predict but they had one earlier this year and should have one more before year ends

Hi DO you have any other link with proper and full list of NOC's under HCP for OINP ?
My NOC was listed before, it is not showingin this particular link
