I applied for OINP early this year and received my nomination this month (December 2016) and am currently in the process of applying to CIC/ IRCC. My nomination says that I am allowed to apply to the non-Express Entry stream (paper based). My finance and I are hoping to get married some time in the new year and we are wondering if we should rush the wedding before I submit my CIC application? Does anyone know if it would delay my application processing time significantly if I update my marital status after I submit the application? To give a little bit of background, my fiance is a Canadian citizen.
