Once PGWP expires, can we extend work permit twice after BCPNP?

Hello everyone,

Since the paper-based PNP takes 16 months+ to process, and we might only get 1 year of work permit extension each time. I want to know if we can extend the work permit more than once (closed work permit twice, or closed work permit + open WP after receiving AOR)? Given that PNP has approved our application and provided us with a support letter as well.


Would appreciate anyone who has had experience extending it twice before. Thank you

I do not think there are restrictions of applying as long as you meet all the requirements. I know though that you cannot extend PGWP.

If you got AOR, look in your PNP letter and check EMPLOYEE RESTRICTION:
1)YES ->apply for closed work permit
2)NO -> apply for Bridging Open Work Permit

I am (will be) in similar situation.
...and I DO have RESTRICTIONS ON EMPLOYMENT
At this point My nomination is Expired, but I have AOR from CIC.

My question is:
Do I use the same PNP Letter of Support for 2nd Work Permit/Extention, or do I have to get new PNP Letter of Support.
